I would love to take you & your partner on a supported journey of love during this monumental time in your lives. I perform pre-wedding counseling and day of wedding officiant services. I specialize in LGBTQIA+ wedding services & would love to share your special day with you and your loved ones.

Meet Maya.

Maya Wiseman AKA “The Golden Wedding Officiant” received her official Certificate of Ordination on April 24th, 2021. She was guided by Pastor Oba Chikelu (Dedric M. Avery), MSL of the Salt & Light Truth Center. This certificate of ordination means that Maya can perform weddings & funerals. Maya is currently an Ordained Minister with the American Marriage Ministries, which allows her to perform ceremonies in all 50 states.

Maya mainly focuses on non-religious services, her belief in the ceremony is to focus on the couple & not any particular religious aspects! Maya is happy to marry any & all couples, but does focus on couples who have been marginalized.

As well as officiating she also provides the service of making flower crowns & bridal/groom/etc or non-traditional bouquets. Maya has received national attention for creating flower crowns that have appeared in Vogue Magazine. She is not available for all flower arrangements.

Before any official agreements are made she asks all clients to sign a basic contract, agree to any discussed pricing, terms &/or conditions.

Payment Terms.

  • Half of the initial payment is due during the day/time of booking & the other half is due 30 days before the ceremony.

    • The booking fee is non-refundable.

    • Payment forms accepted:
      Cash, Check, Venmo & Facebook Pay

    • Prices on this website reflect Maya’s service fee *for up to two hours. Any service that lasts longer than two hours will be charged more. Inquire for more info.

    • No additional charges for weekend weddings!

  • Any additional services/fees may include:

    • late payment fees

    • wedding vow assistance

    • travel (additional mileage will be added at the standard rate per mile for any clients who are outside of a 15 mile radius from Midtown Atlanta)
